Four radio groups – Clear Channel, Citadel, Entercom and CBS – are said to be in settlement talks with the FCC for reported “pay for play,” activities, reports Reuters and other news organizations. A source close to the talks told the newswire a settlement could come soon.
FCC Chairman Kevin Martin recently confirmed the commission is looking into several radio groups in its payola probe.
