Exhibitor to Set Up Big RAID for NAB Demo of Library Tool

mSoft said it will bring a dozen music libraries to one booth in a demo of a “future CD-less society.”
Officials from DeWolfe, SelecTracks, Downright Music, MasterSource, Ed Wood Music, Who Did That Music, Extreme Music, LoveCat Music, Aircraft Music, MegaTrax, MusicBox, 615 Music and APM will take part in a demo of mSoft’s MusicCue 3.2 server system.
“To accommodate the complete catalogs of music from the participating libraries, a giant 5 TB RAID from ADTX has been configured for the show, representing about 6,500 CDs of music and sound effects,” the company stated.
mSoft said it has 16 TB of music and sound effects content available. It promotes the search capabilities of MusicCue 3.2, saying it helps stations avoid having to maintain huge CD libraries.
The company is in booth SL3431.
