Attendees of the NAB Radio Show won’t be the only ones hearing about HD Radio this week.
On Friday, Seattle-area consumers will get a chance to hear the technology. At an event at a local Good Guys retail outlet, Ibiquity Digital Corp., Infinity station KBKS(FM) and Kenwood will provide consumers with a “sneak peak” of HD Radio, the name Ibiquity has given to its in-band, on-channel DAB technology.
Hosted by KBKS’ morning host “Bender” at the Good Guys store in Bellevue, Wash., the listening event will provide consumers a chance to experience terrestrial DAB using Kenwood prototype receivers.
Attendees will be eligible for prizes from KBKS 106.1 FM.
