Kennard Thanks Chief

FCC Chairman Bill Kennard steps down Friday. Thursday, during an internal meeting, he thanked his Chief of Staff, Kathryn Brown.
Kennard said the rollout of broadband and digital technologies are directly attributable to Brown’s strategic vision “and ability to bring people together to work towards a common goal.”
Before her work in the chairman’s office, Brown served as chief of the FCC’s Common Carrier Bureau and served a previous stint with the National Telecommunications Information Administration.
She intends to leave the FCC shortly.
