I enjoyed your article on baseball and listening to distant signals.

I grew up in a small town in central Kentucky and listed to distant stations late at night to hear big league games.  I remember in the mid-to-late 1970s listening to WWWE (AM) in Cleveland with Herb Score and Joe Tate. Hearing Herb Score enticed me to collect his old baseball cards! I remember listening to KMOX(AM) in St. Louis, the Texas Rangers (I don’t recall the call letters) and of course the Cincinnati Reds on 700 WLW(AM) with Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall.

Great memories. Baseball still sounds great on AM radio!
