WASHINGTON� FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly will provide opening remarks for �FCC Experts Talk Radio� at the Radio Show. He will give his address Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m. in Atlanta.
Commissioner O�Rielly will also be an award presenter at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show that evening.
The session will address public policy issues affecting radio, including AM radio revitalization, activating FM chips in mobile devices and regulatory requirements involving online public files and political advertising. Panelists include Robert Baker, Assistant Chief, Policy Division at the FCC�s Media Bureau and Peter Doyle, Chief of the Media Bureau�s Audio Division.
O’Rielly joined the FCC in November 2013. In January 2015, he was sworn into office for a new term, following his re-nomination by the President and confirmation by the United States Senate.
