Learn About HD Radio Diversity Delay On-Demand

SBE webinar featuring Alan Jurison now available

INDIANAPOLIS�If you didn�t make it to the NAB Show this year, you missed out on Alan Jurison�s Broadcast Engineering Conference presentation on HD Radio Diversity Delay.

But the Society of Broadcast Engineers recently offered a webinar that gives members and nonmembers alike an opportunity to hear from Jurison on this subject.�

The presentation (HD Radio Diversity Delay Field Observations) is now available on-demand. The webinar lasts for about an hour and 30 minutes.

The website summary reads in part: �This presentation will discuss implementing various combinations of hardware and/or software to provide continuous monitoring and adjustment of diversity delay in real-time to reduce or eliminate the objectionable blending artifacts impacting listeners.��

For those who are unfamiliar with Jurison�s credentials: He is a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and holds several certifications, including Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer (CPBE), AM Directional Specialist (AMD), Digital Radio Broadcast (DRB), and Broadcast Networking Engineer (CBNE). He has been in the radio industry for 20 years and offers a unique prospective on the convergence of IT and broadcast engineering.

The completion of this webinar qualifies for one SBE recertification credit.
