13 More BE Transmitters to Thailand

They are part of PRD’s rebranding and expansion

Broadcast Electronics has sold 13 BE FMi 106 transmitter systems to a big client in Thailand

Public Relations Department will use the hardware for expansion into regions beyond Bangkok. BE said the order for Radio Thailand adds to a large installed base of its equipment in that country, including transmitters ordered by the Royal Thailand Air Force and Army and GMM Grammy.

“The FMi 106 transmitters were acquired as part of PRD’s re-branding and expansion of its radio networks at the national and local level, including eventual HD Radio digital radio conversion,” BE stated. PRD’s FMi 106 transmitters are operating in analog FM mode at 2 kW transmitter output but are switchable in the field to broadcast HD Radio or HD Radio plus FM analog, BE stated.
