Self-proclaimed “bad boy” radio host Jeff Fillion said he’s signed a five-year agreement with XM Canada. The morning program hosted by “The Pirate of the Airwaves” will air on XM French channel SportPlus XM 172. He starts Sept. 4.
Fillion was fired from CHOI(FM) over comments that Canadian broadcast regulators deemed indecent. Fillion then launched his own Web site at www.radiopirate.com, making his daily morning show available to some 7,500 subscribers. His XM show will also include a portion of his Web casts.
