Members next week will tour the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, a research organization at the University of Colorado in Boulder, which has been involved with the U.S. space program since the 1950s.
LASP, which gets funding from NASA, does research in the atmospheric and planetary sciences, develops space instrumentation and creates computer information systems for space ops.
