The Ad Council, in conjunction with the American Psychological Association and the National Association for the Education of Young Children, has launched the ACT - Adults and Children Together Against Violence campaign.
The campaign is aimed at fostering an understanding that violence is preventable by positively influencing children at a young age.
According to the Ad Council, "studies show that habits of aggression and violence can be avoided if young children are provided with constructive role models, taught problem-solving skills and are protected from exposure to violence in their environment during early childhood."
PSA materials are available in radio and TV formats.
