Broadcast equipment manufacturer AEQ has licensed IP digital network technology developer Audinate’s Dante network technology.
Audinate says that Dante is plug-and-play and works over standard IT networks. It also can scale to smaller bandwidths when necessary. The company adds that over 100 OEMs have licensed the technology and make products that use Dante technology.
AEQ Director of R&D Miguel Sancho said, “AEQ made a strategic decision to implement IP for its audio networking solutions a few years ago … Now with Dante the AEQ line of products will be providing tight synchronization with ultra-low latency, secure, real-time networked IP Audio with interoperability to a large number of products from the most prestigious manufacturers in the world.”
