The 111th Audio Engineering Society Convention was postponed after the terrorist attack on Sept. 11.
The convention center to be used by AES was taken over by New York emergency services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and will occupied into the foreseeable future, making holding the convention impossible.
AES officials decided to move the convention to Nov. 30 through Dec. 3 in the same meeting center in New York. Registration records will automatically be transferred and convention badges will be mailed around Nov. 15.
