AKG says it has revamped its dynamic headphone line.
The series includes K 141 MK II, K 240 MK 11, K 171 MK 11, K 271 MK II, K 77 and K 99 models. “MK” models tout a self-adjusting headband, stage blue color, maximum input power of 200 mW, leatherette and velvet ear pads and an additional 5 meters of coiled cable.
The K 141 MK II on-ear, semi-open headphones have a frequency range of 18 Hz to 24 kHz, and are suitable for studio monitoring, project studios and home recording.
The K 240 MK II around-ear, semi-open headphones have a frequency range of 15 Hz to 25 kHz and can be deployed for single-ear use.
The K 171 MK II on-ear, closed-back headphones are for on-stage monitoring and DJ mixing. They offer a frequency range of 18 Hz to 26 kHz and are suitable for mobile use.
The K 271 MK II around-ear, closed-back headphones are for playback recording, on-stage and live monitoring applications. They have a frequency range of 16 Hz to 28 kHz.
The K77 around-ear, closed-back stereo headphones are dark blue, have leatherette ear pads and offer a frequency range of 18 Hz to 20 kHz.
The K 99 around-ear, semi-open headphones are dedicated for portable MP3, CD players and notebooks. They offer a frequency range of 18 Hz to 22 kHz.
Additionally available as a separately shipping item, the AKG IP 2 in-ear microphones offer ambient isolation to block out state noise. The grey-colored in-ear, closed-back headphones have a frequency range of 12 Hz to 23.5 kHz, and a maximum input power of 20 mW.
