The line of Omnia digital audio processors is expanding, with two offerings for AM and FM broadcasters that debuted at the recent NAB show.
A company spokesman said the AM version of Omnia-4.5 is about to ship; the FM version has been rolling since January. These are additions to a line that also includes the Omnia-6 and Omnia-3.
They feature 96 kHz processing with 24-bit dynamic range, which the company calls the highest sampling rate in any broadcast audio processor.
Features include five-band limiter and two-band AGC; plug-in software architecture that simplifies software updates; PCMCIA slots to store and share custom settings; and Ethernet, dial-up and RS-232 remote-control capabilities.
Omnia-4.5fm carries a U.S. retail price of $7,580; Omnia-4.5am lists at $6,980.
