American Public Media Creates VP, Digital Media Position

Mike Reszler to oversee digital programming, product development, Public Insight Network

Public radio program producer and distributor American Public Media has promoted Mike Reszler, managing director of digital strategies, to the newly-created position of vice president for digital media.

Reszler will be responsible for APM’s Public Insight Network, as well as for all APM digital programming and product development.

APM sees the promotion as a way to strengthen its digital resources.

Reszler has helped lead the digital transformation of many news operations, both print and broadcast, during his career, according to APM. An alumnus of Knight Ridder and MediaNews Group, he’s worked as a reporter, managing editor and senior editor. Reszler joined Minnesota Public Radio in November, 2007, as managing editor for online news. APM distributes MPR programming.
