The Internet arm of American Media Services is rolling out 20 streaming radio formats.
AMS, a brokerage and engineering firm, launched the Internet affiliate four months ago, pitching it as a turnkey approach to streaming audio and generating revenue from online advertising.
The 20 online “multi-channel” formats are “designed for broadcasters to stream highly targeted and locally branded content to their online audience,” the company stated. Formats include Radio Gold for each decade from the 1950s to the 1990s; bluegrass; blues; calypso; island songs; classic country; soul classics; and others.
Each is programmed as a turnkey system with a library of music, custom liners and IDs.
