Beasley Media Group Charlotte has tapped Jeff “Uzi D” Anderson to serve as operations manager and program director for WPEG(FM) and WBAV(FM). The appointment is effective Sept. 12.
Anderson began his radio career at Beasley’s Fayetteville, N.C., station WZFX(FM) in the 1990s. Since that time, he has worked in programming at stations nationwide.
“Jeff is a past Beasley programmer, and we know first-hand that he’s one of the best urban PDs in America!” said Vice President of Programming Justin Chase. “We are thrilled to have him back in the company.”
Beasley Media Group owns WSOC(FM), WKQC(FM), WPEG, WBAV, WNKS(FM), WBCN(AM) and WFNZ(AM) in the Charlotte radio market. Bill Schoening is the market manager for those stations.
