The group American Women in Radio and Television announced recipients of the Gracie Allen Tribute Awards. They are Angel Harvey, radio producer of “The Paul Harvey Show,” and Judy Sheindlin, host of TV’s “Judge Judy.”
Harvey has produced the show for more than 35 years and was the first producer to be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. She has been active in community and philanthropic activities, serving on charitable boards such as the Infant Welfare Society, the USO and Prevent Child Abuse America.
Sheindlin is an author and recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from New York Law School. She recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; “Judge Judy” celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
The awards are to be presented in June in New York.
