Arbitron Aligns With Lariat

Lariat Software Inc. plans to license its streaming media tracking and measurement system to Arbitron.
Arbitron wants to use the MediaReports in its monthly Webcast ratings service, called InfoStream.
Using MediaReports, Arbitron would be able to measure thousands of channels of streamed audio on the Internet, said Bill Rose, GM/VP, Arbitron Internet Services.
“Lariat will make it easier for our data partners to participate in our Webcast ratings,” said Rose.
