Arbitron Gets Money for Outdoor Ratings Test

Arbitron is getting financial support from the people who would use an outdoor audience ratings service.
It says the Outdoor Advertising Association of America has pledged $300,000 to support its research into creating a service. Arbitron has completed a first trial phase, which examined several ratings techniques. It says this funding will support a more extensive test, now underway in Atlanta.
