Arbitron Makes Fortune’s Cut

Arbitron Inc., out on its own as an independent company for less than a year, is among Fortune’s Top 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2001.
From the largest pool of companies ever who requested to be considered for the list, Arbitron ranked No.52 overall and it is the only radio-related company on Fortune’s Top 100 list.
Arbitron is No. 25 on the list of Best Companies for Women, a second survey from Fortune that also appears in its Feb. 4th issue. Companies that make the Top 100 list are selected based on the randomly selected employee responses to a survey that measures the quality of workplace culture and on the evaluation of company responses to a company “culture audit”.
