Radio planning and modeling company ATDI now offers online services traditionally available through PC-installed applications.
The initial phase of the new service makes advanced maps accessible via the ATDI Web site. An agreement with the British national mapping agency, Ordnance Survey (OS), bolsters the service, enabling coverage calculations using OS maps.
“Nobody in the world can match Ordnance Survey as a mapmaker, and the fact that their data is now available for our online tools gives an accuracy and simplicity of use that we could never have dreamed of a few years ago,” said ATDI Managing Director John Berry.
“As spectrum trading and other market mechanisms come into play,” said Berry, “capability will also be needed by nonspecialists, such as economists and accountants. With ATDI Online in partnership with OS, they can find what they need instantly.”
