Auto Survey Places HD-R in Top 3 Desired Features

Pierre Bouvard, Arbitron President PPM, said the alliance announced Monday for HD Radio promotion among broadcasters “is going to be good.” He referenced a J.D. Power survey out this week in the Wall Street Journal that said HD Radio was in the top three when participants were asked what features they want in a car.
Ibiquity Director of Broadcast Marketing Don Kelly said the company has commitments from European and Asian automakers to install HD Radio in eight brands and 30 models over the next two years. No domestic auto manufacturers have signed on so far, he said.
