BFA Names 2015 Ward L. Quaal Leadership Award Recipients

Awards will be presented annual breakfast at the NAB Show

The Broadcasters Foundation of America has announced the recipients of the 2015 Ward L. Quaal Leadership Awards, to be presented at the foundation’s annual breakfast at 7 a.m., April 15 during the National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas.

The 2015 Ward L. Quaal Leadership Awards recipients are: David Barrett, director, Hearst Corp.; Don Curtis, chairman and CEO, Curtis Media Group; Herb McCord, president and owner, Granum Communications Corp.; Jane Mago, former EVP and general counsel, NAB; Al Primo, creator, Eyewitness News, Education Television Fund Inc.; Jeff Warshaw, CEO, Connoisseur Media.

The Quaal Leadership Awards are given annually in recognition of career contributions to the broadcast industry and the community at large, and are named in honor of iconic broadcaster Ward L. Quaal.

This year, the awards breakfast moves to a new location, the Brahms Room in the Encore Hotel. The breakfast is complimentary to all and is sponsored by Frank N. Magid Associates, Marketron, the National Association of Broadcasters, the National Association of Media Brokers, the Radio Advertising Bureau and the Television Bureau of Advertising.
