Commissioner Olivia Trusty, the newest member on the Federal Communications Commission, has named Krista Senell as her chief of staff and senior counsel. Trusty also named several acting advisors.
Senell is former legal advisor in the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology. In an earlier stint at the commission she was legal advisor to the Media Bureau, among other roles.
“Her career includes positions at Meta and CTIA, where she led policy initiatives on connectivity and wireless issues,” Trusty’s office said in the announcement.
“She began her legal career in private practice at Wiley Rein. Krista holds a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law and a master’s in television, radio and film from the Newhouse School of Public Communications. She earned her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross.”
Trusty also named William Holloway as acting legal advisor; he joins from the FCC’s Broadband Data Task Force.
Jessica Kinsey was named acting legal advisor, coming over from the Enforcement Bureau.
Andi Roane is named acting confidential assistant; she has served in the offices of three former chairs and two commissioners, including Brendan Carr.
