Bombo Radyo Philippines has acquired a total of 24 GatesAir transmitters.
Resulting from a five month period of consultation and negotiation on bulk orders, the sale will involve 11 GatesAir Flexiva FM transmitters and 13 AM transmitters.
GateAir touts that working with a “single systems integrator and offering spare parts at a far lower cost” won them the contract with the Filipino broadcaster.
GatesAir calls this “an important radio win” for its business in the Philippines.
Bombo Radyo Philippines is a conglomerate made up of the radio networks NewSounds Broadcasting Network and People’s Broadcasting Service as well as the channel partner, Composite Technology Inc.
