Paul Harvey was honored at the White House this week by President Bush, who gave the radio veteran the 2005 Presidential Medal of Freedom.
In his remarks, Bush praised Harvey for possessing “some of the finest qualities of our country: the patriotism, the good humor, the kindness and common sense of Americans.”
Harvey was in good company that included Carol Burnett, Alan Greenspan, Andy Griffith and Vinton Cerf, among other luminaries.
