Mercedes-Benz is stepping up its involvement with SiriusXM.

The two companies extended and expanded their 20-year relationship. MBUSA will make installation of SiriusXM a standard feature on all Mercedes-Benz models in the United States, starting with model year 2024.

“Mercedes-Benz customers purchasing or leasing SiriusXM-equipped vehicles in the United States will continue to receive a six-month trial subscription to the SiriusXM Platinum Plan,” the satellite company said in a press release.

The car company will also start adding the SiriusXM with 360L, a hybrid radio platform that combines OTA satellite reception with streaming, two-way connectivity and personalization features.
