The FCC has extended the deadline for U.S. radio stations and other covered entities to pay their FY22 regulatory fees.

The deadline has been pushed back by two days, to 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 30.

It cited the potential of damage from Hurricane Ian on the communication entities it covers. “The commission is mindful of the effect of this hurricane on regulatory fee payors located in affected areas. Additionally, we are aware of other technical challenges entities are currently facing in paying their regulatory fees.”

Beyond that exention, if your organization is supposed to pay but is affected by Hurricane Ian or you have other problems related to the fees, email [email protected], or call the FCC’s Financial Operations Help Desk at (877) 480-3201, option#6.

Procedures for filing requests for fee waivers or installment plans are described in this public notice.
