Professional Audio Design appointed Jesus Cardoso as head of business development for Hispanic markets. I’ts a new position. He will be responsible for Hispanic sales initiatives in the U.S., Mexico and Latin American markets and will report to President Dave Malekpour.
PAD is a technical services company specializes in sales, install and support of high-end audio equipment. It markets to recording studios, artists, producers, engineers and studio designers.
Cardoso is a graduate of Berklee College of Music; he has been an audio engineer for many years, PAD said, and recently owned and operated one of the first Pro-Tools based recording studios in Mexico City.
“Cardoso is also a former client of Professional Audio Design,” PAD stated. “His new role will entail providing studio integration consulting for Spanish clients, as well as managing the import/export process — which can be difficult and time-consuming for customers to navigate on their own.”
“PAD is in a unique position to address the Hispanic professional audio market, which is vastly underserved,” Cardoso said in the announcement.
