AOL veteran Tim Castelli has joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment as its executive vice president of Digital Sales. It is a new position. He will report to John Hogan, chairman and CEO of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.
According to a release Castelli will oversee national digital sales efforts and develop advertising products and programs across Clear Channel Media and Entertainment divisions, e.g. Strategic Partnerships, National Programming Platforms and National Advertising Platforms and iHeartRadio.
Castelli was most recently with America Online as senior vice president of Sales, Eastern U.S. Region. Before that he was technology industry director for Google. Castelli has also been the publisher of Rolling Stone magazine and PC Magazine.
