Clear Channel in San Diego to Host KCBQ Antenna

Clear Channel in San Diego is helping Salem’s KCBQ(AM) stay on the air by allowing that station’s antenna to be relocated to Clear Channel’s tower for KPOP(AM).
KCBQ’s request to move its tower to Muth Valley was denied and Clear Channel stepped in. Judy Bowen, vice president and general manager of KCBQ said Clear Channel’s offer “is a great solution and an example of how business relationships can overcome natural competitive issues to better the entire industry.”
