Dan Weiner was named vice president and general manager of Infinity Broadcasting’s KTWV(FM) “The Wave” in Los Angeles, effective May 24.
He joins Infinity from Clear Channel, where he served as station manager of XTRA Sports, responsible for the programming, marketing and sales departments, and play-by-play properties including the Lakers and Clippers.
He began his career in radio in 1988 at AM/FM as national sales manager, and also served in the same position at KBIG(FM)/KLAC(AM) in Burbank/Los Angeles from 1997-1998.
