CPB Reforms Itself

A report to Congress is due next month from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting about internal reforms, stemming from its Inspector General’s report last fall about former board chair Kenneth Tomlinson.
To that end, the CPB Board adopted several resolutions this week. They include a revised code of ethics for directors and a conflict of interest policy, a whistleblower policy, a resolution to prevent political tests in employment decisions and procedures for ensuring open meetings.
