Jeremiah Crowe and Brad Hansen will be based in San Francisco and Albuquerque

Jeremiah Crowe

Cumulus Media has announced that it appointed sports talk radio producer and programming professional Jeremiah Crowe as program director of KNBR(AM)/1050 (AKA KTCT), and as assistant program director of KNBR(AM)/680. The company also announced that it appointed Brad Hansen as FM operations manager of Cumulus Media Albuquerque and program director of KRST(FM)/NASH(FM) 92.3, KBZU(FM)/Nash Icon and KDRF(FM)/eD-FM.

Crowe was previously at ESPN in Bristol, Conn., and served as the producer of “Mike and Mike in the Morning,” “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” “SportsNation,” “NFL Countdown to Kickoff, College Gameday,” “RaceDay” and “Fantasy Focus on ESPN Radio.” Most recently, he was the assistant program director of KGMZ(FM)/95.7 The Game in San Francisco.

“We’re about to relaunch KNBR 1050, and we’re excited to have Jeremiah join our programming team to lead this effort,” said Lee Hammer, operations manager and program director for KNBR 680. “In addition, he’ll be working closely with me on new strategic programming initiatives at KNBR 680, plus helping to expand our growing social media platforms.”

Crowe said he was excited to join the stations that have been a part of the Bay Area sports scene for decades. “There’s great potential to turn 1050 AM into a major player within the market as we explore all options both here in the Bay Area and on a national scale,” he said. “I’m looking forward to serving local fans and presenting them with a fresh perspective on the teams they love so much.”

Brad Hansen

In Albuquerque, N.M., Brad Hansen is a seasoned radio programmer, according to the announcement. He was previously program director of country station KWOF(FM)/92.5 The Wolf in Denver. Prior to that, Hansen was operations manager for Clear Channel/iHeart Media in Fort Collins, Colo., and served as program director for stations in Reno, Nev.; Springfield, Mo.; and Austin, Texas, where he programmed KASE(FM) and KVET(FM).

“We are so excited to have Brad on the Cumulus Albuquerque team,” said Jeff Berry, vice president/market manager of Cumulus Media Albuquerque. “His fresh perspective will enhance our products and help us deliver vibrant radio programming that our listeners, advertisers and community will love.”

Hansen said he is being offered a fantastic opportunity to work with a great group of people that he’s known for a long time. “Thanks to Jeff Berry, Greg Frey, Charlie Cook and Mike McVay for bringing me on board,” he said.
