Cumulus Media has appointed New York media executive Chad Lopez as its new vice president/market manager for its New York cluster.
Lopez spent the past 14 years at CBS Radio, working as general sales manager for WCBS(AM) and WCBS(TV). He also served CBS Radio New York as director of sales for WCBS(AM) and WFAN/Yankees Baseball.
Prior to that, he was senior media buyer for Dom Camera and Associates for five years. He also served as an officer in the United States Navy.
“Chad is a highly talented and experienced sales leader behind several legendary brands in New York City radio,” said Cumulus Senior Vice President Gary Pizzati.
Cumulus provides exclusive content that is fully distributed through approximately 460 owned-and-operated stations in 90 U.S. media markets, more than 10,000 broadcast radio affiliates and numerous digital channels.
