The AES 111th Convention, taking place Nov. 30 – Dec. 3, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, is featuring a session on digital broadcasting in the United States.
“Digital broadcasting is changing the way consumers view television and listen to the radio,” says David Bialik of DKB Broadcast Associates and 111th special events chair.
In addition to representatives from both XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio, the panelists who will discuss the best methods for delivering high quality audio in broadcasting includes: Jerry Butler, PBS; Ralph Justus, CES; David Layer, NAB; Jeffrey Riedmiller, Dolby Labs; Deepen Sinha, Ibiquity Digital.
The event is slated for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
