Dalet 5.1, Radio Suite Support HD Radio, Podcasting

Dalet Digital Media Systems says it has enhanced support for HD Radio and podcast distribution.
Dalet 5.1 and DaletPlus Radio Suite now support the Ibiquity encoder, enabling Program-Associated Data or Main Program Service data to be transmitted automatically during broadcast. The OnAir plug-in then lets programs broadcast with Dalet 5.1 and DaletPlus Radio Suite update HD Radio receiver screens dynamically to inform listeners of what’s playing.
The company also offers a plug-in to facilitate podcast distribution. DaletPlus Radio Suite users can “click and cast” audio assets from their digital audio library. Format conversion and associated metadata insertion are automated and the resulting MP3 file is pushed to a predefined directory over the LAN or WAN. Dalet says the automated content publication eases content distribution and syndication.
