D.A.V.I.D. Gives Off Some Latitude

An automation system is the prize in a drawing to be held at the NAB convention. Radio World Editor Paul McLane will draw the winner’s name, the company announced.
D.A.V.I.D. says attendees who visit its booth for a demo of its new Latitude Edition can enter to win $50,000 worth of prizes. Participants must be employees of a U.S. call-letter radio station and fill out a card.
Latitude Edition is promoted as a scalable radio station operating environment, enabling broadcasters to manage audio content from a central repository. The prize is the standard Latitude package, which includes three workstations, a file/audio server with 2,000 hours of music in MP2, three flat-panel monitors, soundcards, network switch and training.
Other prizes will be given out.
