The organizers of the 12th annual ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium have announced that more speakers and exhibitors have come on board for the event, which takes place in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 29 to March 3.
Comprising a conference, a series of workshops and an exhibition, DBS 2016 will feature some 70 speakers, while the technical exhibition will host 46 exhibitors.
With the theme “Innovating Digital Connections,” the principal sponsor of this year’s event is WorldDAB. Other major sponsors include the Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission, EMC Corporation, MediaGeniX, Rohde & Schwarz, MediaGuru, the Korea Radio Promotion Association and Dolby.
Also on tap during the conference is an Industry Debate slated to take place on March 3, where leading industry figures will look at “Digital Radio for the Future” and discuss the challenges and opportunities.
