Dial Global is using Stantron Pioneer racks for a radio network expansion project in Valencia, Calif.
The racks were sold through Pacific Radio in Burbank. Options included rotating PowerOptions vertical power strips, repositionable magnetic lighting products and cooling features.
Dial Global is a radio network owned by Triton Media Group; it provides national ad sales representation to producers and syndicates, in addition to its own programming and barter services from sister company MJI Interactive.
The Pioneer racks were integrated into the master control room to accommodate expansion of Dial Global’s network radio business, to support program distribution and other services. The company said it is also in the process of setting up a receiver system due to be on the air by the end of the year; it too will use Pioneer Racks.
Larry Wilson is VP of engineering for Dial Global. He said the new racks house18 computers, 47 audio encoders and other associated equipment.
