Interest group Public Knowledge says the RIAA is floating another version of content control language for digital radio on Capitol Hill – language it says would require any digital audio broadcast transmission system approved by the FCC to include encryption of copyrighted material at the source.
“At a minimum, PK believes that Congress should take a deeper look at the issue rather than rushing to legislate,” the group’s spokesman stated.
