Disney Sells WWMK to Nonprofit

Delmarva continues to acquire; Alpha Media completes Buckley acquisition

Radio Disney Group has found a buyer for its Cleveland station, WWMK(AM). St. Peter the Rock Media, an Ohio nonprofit, is the buyer. According to a release from the buyer’s broker, Patrick Communications, the price was $895,000.

In other acquisition news, the Delmarva Educational Association continues its acquisitory ways with the purchase of the assets of Jacksonville, Fla.-area FMs WMUV and WSOS. In late December, Delmarva acquired a pair of New Jersey stations. George Reed of Media Services Group was the seller’s broker.

And, lastly, Richard A. Foreman has announced that Alpha Media’s acquisition of Buckley Broadcasting of California’s six Bakersfield and Merced stations has officially closed.
