Emmis Affirms Board of Directors

Emmis Communications Corp. held its annual shareholders meeting on June 25, and four board members were re-elected.
Susan Bayh, Gary Kaseff and Frank Sica will serve three-year terms; Peter Lund will serve for two years. The firm Ernst & Young was ratified as the company’s auditor.
The board also declared a dividend for its 6.25-percent convertible stock, to be paid on July 15. The dividend per share will be 78 cents, with one share of Emmis preferred stock equaling 1.28 shares of Class A common stock.
