Emmis Interactive now is working with marketing consulting firm dmr to offer tools and audience data analysis to radio stations, aimed at helping them get the most out of PPM.
Emmis Interactive is a software and consulting company; since early 2008, when it became a separate subsidiary within Emmis Communications, it has been focused on marketing to non-company clients. dmr offers strategic marketing consulting and services to broadcasters.
The companies said the Emmis BaseStation content management system will help dmr turn user data into information that will be useful in their clients’ marketing and programming efforts.
The arrangement was announced by Emmis Interactive’s Rey Mena and dmr’s Tripp Eldredge.
“Combined, the two companies can provide radio stations with the skills to identify and recruit the right consumers, as well as the ability to craft an ongoing strategy to build engagement and establish loyalty,” they said in their announcement.
