Emmis said it’s working with StreamTheWorld and Ando Media to put all of its radio stations on a higher-quality streaming platform.
StreamTheWorld is a streaming technology and services company. Ando Media provides audience measurement and ad management.
The announcement of a partership was made by Emmis SVP/Chief Strategy Officer Greg Loewen, Ando Media COO Paul Krasinski and StreamTheWorld SVP Neil Sweeney.
As part of the arrangement, Emmis station WQHT (Hot 97) in New York has begun streaming for the first time.
Other Emmis streamers will migrate in coming weeks.
