ENPS Mobile, from Associated Press Broadcast Technology, allows users to search for wire or news content and exchange messages with newsroom journalists.
The system runs on Pocket PC devices, links to newsroom systems and gives access to newswires, rundowns, assignment planners and stories.
AP Broadcast Technology has also recently enhanced its SNAPfeed media store and forward application to accept transmissions from phones and other mobile devices.
SNAPfeed also supports new codecs, increasing quality and flexibility in live transmissions.
