Entercom New Orleans has hired radio sales executive Mark Boudreaux as director of sales for three stations: WLMG(FM), WKBU(FM) and WEZB(FM). In addition, Entercom Upstate in South Carolina has promoted Lee Rogers to news director for WYRD(FM).
Before rejoining Entercom New Orleans, Boudreaux was the director of sales for Midwest Communications in Knoxville, Tenn. Prior to Midwest, Boudreaux spent 15 years at Entercom New Orleans station WWL(AM/FM) where he served as an account executive, local sales manager and general sales manager.
Entercom New Orleans is a radio group in the New Orleans metropolitan area with five radio stations.
Rogers will direct news for the six-station Upstate cluster with an increased emphasis on extensive local news coverage on WYRD(FM). In addition to his new role, Rogers will continue as the morning news reporter for “The Tara Show” (weekdays, 6–10 a.m.). Rogers joined Entercom Upstate in 2007, and during his three-decade radio career, he has been an announcer, music director, program director, operations manager, general manager, account executive and news anchor.
Entercom Upstate comprises six radio stations WFBC(FM), Greenville, S.C.; WSPA(FM), Spartanburg, S.C.; WTPT(FM), Forest City, N.C.; WROQ(FM), Anderson, S.C.; and WYRD(AM/FM), Simpsonville, S.C. that cover the northwest South Carolina and western North Carolina market.
