“Get Your Radio On!,” a new ESPN Radio TV promo, debuted this week on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews and ESPN Classic to expose the sports radio network to ESPN viewers. The humorous spot features grade-school students on the playground debating hot sports topics of the day – as learned on ESPN Radio – and making observations such as, “Shaq’s the man, but Yao’s really showing me something,” “My head is with Tiger, but my heart is with Daly” and “A Rod in pinstripes? Steinbrenner is unbelievable!”
ESPN Radio General Manager Bruce Gilbert said the company is “excited about this new imaging that cleverly illustrates how listening to ESPN Radio will make you a better informed fan, regardless of age.” He added that he hopes it reminds sports fans that they “are never far” from ESPN’s news information and live events.
